What Dayrule stores about the people in your company, why it needs each piece, and how to get it out or have it removed.

Who runs this

Dayrule is a product of mixtape.works, run by Human Hygiene Kft., 1163 Budapest, Datolya utca 40., Hungary (company registration number 01-09-464537; full details at mixtape.works/imprint). The company that signs up is the controller of its people's data; we run the service and hold the data on its behalf. Write to support@mixtape.works about anything on this page.

What is stored, and why each piece

The company: its name, country, time zone, working week and leave rules. Without these there is no calendar to count against.
Each person: name, e-mail address, country, start date and last day, full or part time. These decide who may sign in, and how much leave the law gives them.
Date of birth, where the country's rules use age (Hungary's do). Only the year is used in a calculation; the date is kept as entered.
A child's date of birth (only the year is used in a calculation), and whether the child has a disability, where the country's rules grant extra days for them. This is health information about somebody who is not your employee: enter it only where the entitlement depends on it.
A payroll id, if the company adds one, so the monthly export matches their payroll system.
Leave requests: dates, type, any note written on them, who decided and when.
To sign you in: a signed session cookie. Signing in itself is done by your mixtape account at account.mixtape.works, the one login for every mixtape product: Dayrule keeps no password and learns only the e-mail address the account has confirmed. While a sign-in is under way, two more cookies live for ten minutes: one holds the sign-in's own check values, the other the confirmed address until a new company has a name. We keep no server log of requests, and there is no analytics or advertising code on any page.
We count how many times each public page (the front page, sign-up and this one) is opened each day, and which site a visit came from, by that site's name only: no IP address, no cookie, no device details, nothing that tells one visit from another.

How long it is kept

People are never deleted: somebody who leaves keeps their history, because last year's leave record and payroll export have to keep adding up. Their account stops working the day after their last day. A whole company's data is removed when the company asks.

Where it is

On a server in the European Union. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anybody outside the service.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything held about you, have a mistake corrected, or have your data removed. Ask your employer first, since it is their account. If that goes nowhere, write to support@mixtape.works and we will act on it.
